About Upsilon Kappa Delta, Alumnae Association

Started by the National Board of Directors in 2015, the mission of the Alumnae Association (AA) is to actively engage all alumnae of Upsilon Kappa Delta in the empowerment of our communities through the promotion of higher education and the perpetual development of our professional network.  UKD Alumnae will continually uplift the legacy of Upsilon Kappa Delta through community service, undergraduate guidance, professional networking and sisterhood.

The purpose of UKD Alumnae is driven by the many goals the organization has set out to accomplish. UKD Alumnae chapter will cater to all alumnae sisters. The four most prominent purposes, which serve as the roots to our organizational tree, are:

• Professionalism- catering to and providing fellow alumnae an executive and professional organization that they will benefit from being a member
• Community Service- always maintaining close ties to our community, both socially and professionally, and assisting in any way possible
• Sisterhood- maintaining a strong bond and network among alumnae to expand the family tree and assist those in need
• Undergraduate Support – assist our undergraduate sisters personally and academically, and attempting to create leads for their chosen career path.

The AA is governed by the AA Committee, which is comprised of the Director of Alumnae Affairs, Chairwoman, Vice-Chairwoman, Secretary, Finance, Director of Professional Development, Director of Community Outreach, Director of Member Relations, Director of Undergraduate Development, and Director of Communication.
